History

Dipa Makassar University is one of the private universities in LLDIKTI Region IX SULTANBATARA, providing education and teaching since 1994/1995. It is under the name of the College of Information and Computer Management (STMIK) in Dipanegara based on the Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture Number 057/D/O /1994 dated July 7, 1994, with the registered status of Information Systems (Informatics Management) study program and Informatics Engineering study program, Undergraduate Program (S1). And for the Diploma Three Level of Information Management was registered on June 21, 1996, with No. 38/DIKTI/Kep/1996. On December 28, 2018, the Decree of the Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education No. 1232/KPT/I/2018 added a new study program for Software Engineering at the Undergraduate (S1) level.

On February 8, 2021, Based on the Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture No. 28/D/O/2021, STMIK Dipanegara changed its form to Dipa Makassar University with an additional 2 (two) study programs, Digital Business (S1) and Entrepreneurship (S1).

The National Accreditation Board has accreditated each Study Program for Higher Education (BAN-PT).

The implementation of education has implemented the Tridharma of Higher Education, namely carrying out education, carrying out research and community service, and implementing management following applicable regulations.

Mission

1. We are organizing international quality education and teaching to produce faithful and devoted graduates to God Almighty, intelligent, agile, entrepreneurial and technopreneur.

2. We are organizing research to produce and discover new science and technology beneficial to the homeland and nation.

3. Carry out community service to implement science and technology to improve community welfare.

4. Carry out beneficial cooperation with local and global institutions to benefit the advancement of the university, homeland and nation.

Goals :

1. Produce graduates with innovations in information technology and business who can play a role in the nation's economic development, build independence based on noble cultural values and excel at national and international levels;

2. Produce graduates who are academically capable, entrepreneurial, professional, independent, have a high work ethic, discipline and have a noble character so that they can compete at national and international levels;

3. Creating a friendly, highly competitive, high-tech academic atmosphere to be able to develop the potential of every individual in the academic community; and

4. Realizing accountable, effective, efficient, up-to-date, and integrated higher education governance to gain trust at the local, national and international levels.

Target :

1. Obtaining A (Excellent) Accreditation for Colleges and Study Programs

2. Minimum 2 (two) Study Programs received accreditation A (Excellent)

3. The Lecturer Quality Index (IMD) 3.00 (Scale 0-4) values are 75%.

4. The Lectures qualification that Doctoral is a minimum of 75% in Computer Science (cognate) and other linear sciences.

5. At least 50% of the lecturers and education personnel are certified in national and international competence.

6. Student Grade Point Average (GPA) 3.00 reaching 70%.

7. The total number of students who graduated on time is 60%.

8. The graduates that working in similar field is 75%.

9. Entrepreneurial graduates reach 10% of graduates per year.

10. The graduates are certified and equipped with a Companion Diploma (SKPI) Certificate.

11. We produce scientific papers for all permanent lecturers and involve active students as 20% per year.

12. Produce International Scientific Work 30% of the number of lecturers and 5% of the number of active students per year.

13. We produce Community Service activities for all permanent lecturers and involve at least 20% of active students per training/year.

14. Implementing 5 (five) Merdeka Belalar – Merdeka Campus (MBKM) programs.
